Yes, the title of the first episode of Kodocha (short for kodomo no omocha) is "I'm an Elementary School Girl With a Pimp." Does Sana-chan, the main character even know what that is? The popular TV show suggests you're totally into something good. Absolutely funny with tons of in-jokes, Kodocha is simply about a sixth-grader named Sana, trying to balance school and her child-acting career. Hayama, her nemesis, only makes things worse for her by turning the classroom into disaster (i.e. squirting the teacher w/ pen ink, blackmailing classmates, etc.) He rules the school into the first few episodes until Sana-chan come up with blackmail for him: getting caught with his pants down.
All in all, if you're into comedic shows and aren't "allergic" to ridiculous shrieking, this is definitely worth your time. I laughed so hard into the 1st episode, I thought my colon would rupture!! And the best thing about Kodocha is Hayama's expressionless face! He hardly ever, I mean EVER changes his expression. You'll be sure to get a few to a bunch of laughs from this show, "I guarantee it."
Pros: Understandable in-jokes that make you laugh, even if you don't understand them
Cons: Only available through fansubs, no North American releasesyet.

to anime, or not a strong fan, this series will convert you. for the
characters, for the story, and for the overall zaniness.
